Wynn Las Vegas

Mega luxury resort created by Steve Wynn founder of many of the Strip properties in Las Vegas.

The epitome of Las Vegas luxury is worth a stop along the Strip. With high end designer shopping, ranging from Oscar de la Renta to Louis Vuitton, it won’t disappoint. However, the highlight is the water show La Reve. La Reve is definitely at a higher price but worth it! A compilation of all key elements of past Cirque du Soleil shows, it will dazzle and impress, even if you have seen numerous Cirque shows already. Check out the website for more information. [1]

The affordable Monty Python’s Spamalot is no longer at the Las Vegas Wynn. The theater is currently being used for top tier artists that tour with constant chatter of one these artists signing a long term deal to perform weekly. While this is nothing more than a rumor at this point, Beyonce and Garth Brooks are possible candidates.

Vdara Resort Las Vegas

Vdara Las Vegas

We invite you inside an enclave of Access and Escape. Directly connected to Bellagio, this breathtaking non-gaming, non-smoking, all-suite hotel and spa delivers exceptional experiences with a sense of familiar pleasures. Access everything Las Vegas has to offer; escape everything Las Vegas has to offer.

Tropicana Las Vegas

Tropicana, a rare remaining Las Vegas landmark having opened in 1957.

Located on the corner of Las Vegas Boulevard and Tropicana Avenue, this revitalized property sits at the southern end of the Strip and within walking distance to many of the city’s large-scale resorts and favored attractions. The Tropicana has embraced a South Beach-inspired theme, complete with a breathtaking four-acre pool and beach club area. It even boasts a fresh redesign of every hotel room and suite.

Over Memorial Day weekend, the resort plans to unveil Bagatelle Beach & Nightclub, a chic new dayclub and lavish nightclub operated by The ONE Group and Bagatelle America. Not only will the daytime experience feature Mediterranean dining, daybeds and beach activities like volleyball, but it will also introduce Las Vegas to the original Bagatelle Champagne party brunch — made famous in New York City’s Meatpacking District. In the evening, the dayclub will offer poolside dining with access to the new full-service indoor nightclub.

The Tropicana currently has three unique dining venues that provide innovative eating experiences. Enjoy a decadent menu of Italian fusion cuisine at the trattoria Bacio by Carla Pellegrino, or tuck into perfectly prepared steaks and fresh seafood at the elegant steakhouse Biscayne Steak, Sea and Wine. Whether you’re hungry for the basics or want to try something completely different, you’ll discover both — along with spectacular views of the pools — at the Beach Café. Snack on sandwiches, slices of pizza, pastries and gourmet coffees at the South Beach Marketplace.

Guests can take in some of the coolest and craziest drumming around in the Tropicana Theater, thanks to the loud-and-proud quartet Recycled Percussion. An area of white leather chairs and opulent red fabrics creates a sensual experience at the Ambhar Lounge. Delight in imaginative cocktails with live entertainment provided there during the weekends.

The Tropicana also recently opened the Laugh Factory Las Vegas. In addition, they are partnering with Fun World Media to build a new multi-venue entertainment experience at the resort that will include the new comedy showroom as well as a Comedy Walk of Fame, Comedy Wall of Fame and a Stand-Up Comedy Interactive Museum.

A treatment at Glow, A Mandara Spa is a blissful experience. The décor here fuses beach, stone and jungle elements, which perfectly enhance the divine pleasure of traditional and contemporary health and skin care. Experience unique spa services that were developed to relax, rejuvenate and pamper the body and soul, such as the Sweet and Spicy Orange Body Scrub and the Bamboo Massage.

After your heavenly spa trip, come back down to earth in the vibrant casino. Much of the gaming action takes place amid the tables that line the center of the white marble floor under the Tiffany stained glass dome, but guests will also appreciate the upgraded race and sports book operated by Cantor Gaming. And the intimate Jamie Gold Poker Room is one of the best on the Strip with free daily lessons and tournaments. The room’s namesake Jamie Gold is the 2006 World Series of Poker Main Event champion. He regularly holds private lessons and special intensive one-day poker courses here.

The Tropicana gives a nod to the past in the form of the Mafia-themed Mob Attraction Las Vegas. Guests step back in time and enter creatively crafted scenes from Ellis Island, the Prohibition era and the early years at the Trop while having face-to-face interactions with actors and encountering holograms of iconic mobsters. At one point, you can peruse displays of more than 1,000 items of memorabilia, furniture, clothing and photos that were supplied by the families of five famous mob figures: Bugsy Siegel, Meyer Lansky, Sam Giancana, Lucky Luciano and Tony Spilotro. Upon leaving, you’ll find out if your actions have caused you to be “made” or “whacked.”

With the coming of a hot new dayclub/nightclub as well as excellent restaurants, an exquisite spa, a lagoon-like pool complex and a 60,000-square-foot high-tech conference center, the Tropicana offers everything for singles, couples and traveling executives — including that all-encompassing laid-back South Beach vibe.

The Mirage Las Vegas

The Mirage – Las Vegas

The Mirage , the hotel that introduced the “destination resort” concept to the Las Vegas Strip in 1989, is undergoing a transformation that is once again raising the bar for Las Vegas resorts. Beginning in 2005 and continuing through 2007, the transformation of this AAA Four Diamond Polynesian paradise includes the addition of new restaurants, a dynamic nightclub, a modern gaming area, and more!

Planet Hollywood Las Vegas

Shining in the spotlight of the Las Vegas Strip, Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino boasts gourmet restaurants, world-class shopping and dazzling entertainment that has hotel-casino patrons cheering for an encore.

Like the plot of a motion picture, this classic Las Vegas casino — where Elvis and Priscilla Presley were married — once rose from the dead: It was imploded in 1998 and then rebuilt from the ground up. As for its most recent dazzling special effect, the Aladdin lifted the curtain to Hollywood in Sin City when it was reborn as Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. Since Planet Hollywood’s arrival, the property has made a metamorphosis from its lackluster Arabian-theme into a high-tech, retro-chic attraction unlike any other Strip property.

Though infused with a taste of Hollywood culture, the vibe at Planet Hollywood is intended to be welcoming and unpretentious. Who knows, you might even find yourself sitting down to play blackjack next to Jack Black.

The hotel’s movie theme is played out in the rooms through film memorabilia displayed in custom-designed cabinetry. The glamorous 12,800-square-foot lobby at Planet Hollywood has eight chandeliers, each comprised of 66,000 individually hand-strung crystals. Black granite floors, textured glass walls and large columns beckon guests to the check-in desk, where bands of LED lights continuously change color.

Paris Resort Las Vegas

Opened in 1999, there are replicas of the Arc de Triomphe, the Avenue des Champs-Élysées and La Fontaine des Mers at the Place de la Concorde. You can even ride a glass elevator — after crossing Le Pont Alexandre III, a reproduction of one of the most beautiful bridges in Paris — to the top of a half-scale duplicate of the Eiffel Tower, which boasts spectacular views of the Fountains of Bellagio, the Strip and the outlying city.

Three of the massive legs of the Eiffel Tower actually sit inside the resort. This creates the feeling of being outdoors in a park-like setting, which is enhanced by the blue sky-simulated ceiling, lampposts, lifelike leafy trees, breathtaking fountains and cobblestone walkways. Gaming occurs in the center of a picturesque casino floor under lattice-work soffits. All around the periphery are façades that bring to life villages from the different provinces of France. It’s very enchanting — and it feels worlds away from Las Vegas.

Entertainment at Paris Las Vegas is also très enchanting. The resort draws together headliners, cultural programs and even Parisian-style performers. Scheduled to open in March 2012 in Le Théâtre des Arts is the beloved Tony award-winning musical “Jersey Boys.” Hypnotist Anthony Cools currently hosts an adults-only show during which audience members are invited onstage and then do unexpected things at his command (usually of an embarrassing and inappropriate nature). You can laugh it up in the Empire Comedy Club as well.

Like the city it’s inspired by, the nightlife at Paris Las Vegas never stops. The two-level Chateau Nightclub & Gardens includes a stunning interior complete with a vaulted ceiling, ornate chandeliers and rich fabrics. Plus, there are beautiful Parisian-style gardens on a terrace overlooking the Strip. Dueling pianists take the stage nightly at Napoleon’s, a dimly lit lounge that also serves more than 100 labels of champagne. Le Cabaret Lounge hosts traditional cabaret evenings along with bands singing your favorite standards and pop songs in English and sometimes French.

In addition, guests of Paris Las Vegas can feed their inner Francophile by enjoying the resort’s many gastronomic French connections. Mon Ami Gabi is a chic bar and brasserie featuring sophisticated bistro fare such as warm brie cheese, escargots, onion soup au gratin, crêpes and quiches – not to mention the extraordinary steak frites. This restaurant was the first to initiate outdoor patio dining on the Strip.

Most recently, Paris Las Vegas opened the Sugar Factory, a sweets lover’s paradise that also offers excellent people watching on Las Vegas Boulevard, while the quick-tempered star of “Hell’s Kitchen” will be launching Gordon Ramsay Steak in spring 2012. Chef J. Joho presides over the elegant Eiffel Tower Restaurant, situated 11 stories above the Strip. This is definitely among the most romantic places in Las Vegas and the food – especially the lamb and foie gras – are sure to steal your heart. Le Provençal is an Old World country-style eatery revered for its Franco-Italian cuisine. And Le Burger Brasserie puts a French twist on an American food classic. The restaurant’s signature dish is the $777 kobe beef and Maine lobster burger.

Paris Las Vegas’ casual dining options are just as remarkable in character. Le Village Buffet channels the finest of the country’s fare with six stations all themed for different regions in France. Le Café Île St. Louis offers sidewalk-style seating along with an intimate dining room and a menu full of French classics. Sweet and savory crêpes are served in the charming La Crêperie, while the cozy French bakery JJ’s Boulangerie prepares artisan breads, pastries, tarts and more.

Walk-up food windows are also interspersed between the eclectic collection of shops along Le Boulevard. There is a wine store, an accessories boutique and a children’s shop with the beloved books about Madeline and Eloise, along with plenty of outlets carrying unique souvenirs.

Paris Las Vegas guests can also indulge in exotic pampering treatments — such as Balinese massages and body polishes — at the Paris Spa by Mandara. It includes a state-of-the-art fitness center as well as a relaxation lounge, sauna and steam room. The two-acre rooftop pool is another stunning facility with an outdoor café (du Parc) and luxurious private cabanas.

Paris Las Vegas is connected to Bally’s through Le Boulevard. Complimentary shuttle service to the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino is also available.

The Brew Pub, located at the Monte Carlo, is one of the largest breweries in the nation and was the first one located in a resort on the Las Vegas Strip.

The beer there is brewed three to four times per week and bottled two or three times a month. Each year, the Brew Pub produces more than 3,000 barrels, or 93,000 gallons, of its signature beer that includes Silver State Stout, Jackpot Pale and an ever-changing Brewmaster Special. Each beer is aged in specially designed fermentors for as little as 14 days, or up to 60 days or longer, depending on the type of beer.

The beer is bottled on-site using a state-of-the-art machine consisting of a bottle rinser, labler and bottle filler. Guests are invited to view each step of the brewing and bottling process and can buy specialty six-packs to take home.
